Frequently asked questions
Can we have exclusive use of the venue?
Yes absolutely! We will only host one wedding a day. You will have our Georgian Manor House and grounds to yourself exclusively.
Are you licenced for civil ceremonies?
Yes - we have 3 licenced function rooms to choose from for your civil ceremony
Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?
Not a licenced civil ceremony just yet. We are hoping to have this available for Summer 2021. You can have a blessing outside with a celebrant.
Do you charge corkage if we supply our own wine?
No corkage is not an option currently. Again, this might change by Summer 2021.
Can we use our own caterers?
No, we have a fantastic onsite catering team who cater for all of our weddings.
From what time can we get access to decorate the venue?

What time does the reception need to finish?

Are there noise restrictions if we have a live band?
No
Are fireworks allowed?
No
Is confetti allowed?
Yes!
Are candles allowed?

Is there a honeymoon or bridal suite?
Yes. This is used for getting ready the morning of your wedding only and not for overnight use.

Instructions
Ceremony & Wedding Reception for 15 people
An intimate ceremony followed by a sit-down meal with your nearest and dearest. Endless opportunities for photos as your guests enjoy the charm of the venue and grounds.
• Arrive and get ready in the dressing room from 10am
• Ceremony
• Following your ceremony, we will serve Prosecco ahead of a three-course meal, with drinks available for purchase thereafter until 9:30pm.
• Drinks reception to include 2-3 glasses of Prosecco per person, along with juices and bottled still and sparkling water
• Three course sit down meal with Half a bottle of wine per person and coffee
• A glass of Prosecco per person for the toasts during speeches
• Make the most of our beautiful surroundings with endless photo opportunities

Civil ceremony followed by a 90-minute drinks reception for 15 people
An intimate ceremony, followed by an opportunity for photos as our staff serve sparkling cocktails and canapés to your guests for 90 minutes, as they enjoy the charm of the venue and grounds.

• Drinks reception to include Sparkling Cocktails and 6 canapés per person
