Our historic Grade II listed building is exclusively available for your civil ceremony or civil partnership. Situated in the heart of Westminster we are able to accommodate smaller ceremonies and celebrations of 60 people to more lavish events for up to 220 people.

Home of the Institution of Civil Engineers, One Great George Street is also a licensed venue for the institution of civil marriage ceremonies and partnerships. The four-domed Edwardian building just off Parliament Square houses 21 flexible event spaces, among which the ground-floor state rooms, including the interconnecting trio of the Brunel, the Smeaton, and the Council, stand out as venues for wedding parties of up to 100. High ceilings and dark oak panelling make the smaller Stephenson Room a grand location for more intimate affairs. Groups of up to 220 should look at taking the Great Hall in conjunction with the state rooms. At the centre of it all, the grand Portland stone staircase is a glaring photo opportunity. A dedicated wedding co-ordinator will help couples arrange everything from the cloakroom to the chair covers.
