Frequently asked questions
Can we have exclusive use of the venue?
Yes, as standard you have exclusive hire of the entire venue including two outdoor spaces* from 10am until midnight. *outdoor spaces in peak season April-September only
Are you licenced for civil ceremonies?
Yes, we are fully licensed for civil ceremonies.
Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?
Unfortunately, at the moment we are not licensed for outdoor ceremonies. This is something we would like to be licensed for by summer 2021.
Do you charge corkage if we supply our own wine?
Yes, we charge a fixed fee of £20pp to bring in as much wine, champagne, prosecco and water as you would like for the drinks reception, toast drinks and over the wedding breakfast.
Can we use our own caterers?
We have a full kitchen on site and offer a huge variety of catering options including bespoke catering. However, should you wish to provide your own catering they will need to be pre approved. All external caterers must supply: Full staffing, full equipment and serving ware, crockery, cutlery, linen. They must have full public liability insurance and 5* food hygiene certificates. There is a £1,000-£1,5000 kitchen hire fee to provide your own caterers.
From what time can we get access to decorate the venue?
From 10am on the morning of the wedding.
What time does the reception need to finish?
Midnight (with the option of a 1am extension for £500)
Are there noise restrictions if we have a live band?
We have a 95 decibel sound limiter in place to ensure our neighbors can't hear the music within their bedrooms! :)
Are fireworks allowed?
Unfortunately, we have lots of low lying trees and we are located within a residential area so we cannot have fireworks but we can have sparklers - perfect for photo opportunities
Is confetti allowed?
Yes, as long as it is bio degradable
Are candles allowed?
Yes, as long as they are in a holder taller than the flame
Is there a honeymoon or bridal suite?
Unfortunately, we have no on site accommodation but we have partnered with a local hotel who offer our clients preferential rates on bridal sweets, honeymoon suits and guest rooms.

Are you offering COVID-19 Secure Weddings
Yes, as per government guidelines we can host wedding ceremonies for up to 15 guests October 2020-March 2021. We can also host socially distanced wedding breakfasts (6 guests per table) For full terms and conditions contact us direct. Numbers/packages may change according to the most up to date government guidelines.
