Can we have exclusive use of the venue?
Yes, the Tower of London is available for exclusive hire only.
Are you licenced for civil ceremonies?
Yes, as of 2020 we are now licenced for civil ceremonies in 3 different venues within the Tower.
Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?
I am afraid our outside spaces are not licenced for wedding ceremonies however, there are non- legal options if you contact the team.
Do you charge corkage if we supply our own wine?
No, we as a venue do not charge any corkage although you will need one of our approved suppliers to serve your alcohol.
Can we use our own caterers?
As we are a historic site we do ask that you use our approved suppliers. If you do require any help with this please get in touch with the team.
From what time can we get access to decorate the venue?
Depending on which venue you would like to hire there are different access times available.
What time does the reception need to finish?
This will depend on your venue within the Tower however, the Reveller is licenced until 01.00am.
Are there noise restrictions if we have a live band?
No, there are no noise restrictions although we ask any music after 10.30 to take place in The Reveller.
Are fireworks allowed?
We cannot permit fireworks as we are an inner city venue.
Is confetti allowed?
i am afraid we do not allow confetti inside our historic venues.
Are candles allowed?
We permit battery powered LED candles
Is there a honeymoon or bridal suite?
We do not have any accommodation on site however, we are close to a number of hotels in the city.

Historic Royal Palaces have recently announced that The Tower of London is now available for civil ceremonies, one of London's favourite landmarks. They have three spaces that you can hold your civil ceremony of any size up to 150 guests.
