For an alternative option, we now offer the stunning boutique wedding venue and hotel - The Vines of Rochester. Licensed for ceremonies, available exclusively. Just a stone’s throw away from Rochester Castle and Rochester Cathedral - and nestled in the historic precincts of the town - lies The Vines of Rochester.
This magnificent Grade II-Listed building has been lovingly-restored and improved to create a unique boutique hotel and stunning, exclusive-use wedding venue.
The 360-year-old property has two restaurants, a bar and a lounge room, all retaining many original features from different periods across the centuries and connected by quirky passageways and winding staircases. The new extensions complement these perfectly. There are also front and back courtyards, a patio, outside grill area for evening food and garden.
With the accommodation, think 13-bedrooms of luxurious bliss: snug fireplaces, copper baths and four poster beds.
For the special day itself, couples can choose between a traditional or festival-style wedding. The former, includes sumptuous food crafted by our talented chefs for a formal sit-down wedding breakfast, while the latter can include use of the amazing Norwegian Tee-pee outside for the service, all-day music and a range of amazing food menus that can be eaten at your leisure throughout the afternoon, while you catch up with your guests and enjoy the live bands or acts.
The Vines of Rochester is run by the owners of Cooling Castle Barn – an exclusive use wedding venue for the past 25 years – meaning the most important day of your life will be in the hands of experts.
