Can we have exclusive use of the venue?
Couples have exclusive use of their chosen event spaces within the historic house.
Are you licenced for civil ceremonies?
Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?
Yes - new laws have allowed couples to marry outside in our North Courtyard (weather permitting!)
Do you charge corkage if we supply our own wine?
All beverages are provided by our exclusive catering company.
Can we use our own caterers?
All food & beverages are provided by our exclusive catering company.
What time does the reception need to finish?
Are fireworks allowed?
Fireworks are not permitted due to our local wildlife and being a residential area.
Is confetti allowed?
Confetti is not permitted, however we think bubbles are a great alternative!
Are candles allowed?
You are welcome to decorate the venue with LED candles.
Is there accommodation on site?
There is no accommodation on site, however we can recommend local hotels for you and your guests to relax and enjoy.
About Hall Place & Gardens
Set within beautiful walled gardens next to the River Cray is the historic Hall Place in Bexley. Surrounded by stunning Kent countryside, this Tudor house is a perfect choice for couples looking for a memorable wedding venue in idyllic surroundings.
When it comes to your ceremony, you have a number of room options. Each room has its’ own unique character and style, with original features such as stone fireplaces, wood panelling and mullioned windows. The old style grandeur of each room perfectly reflects the magnitude of the occasion, making Hall Place a truly breathtaking place to say your vows.
Following your ceremony, you and your guests can head outside for an elegant drinks reception and capture those all-important photographs within the stunning grounds.
The Great Hall can accommodate 100 guests for your wedding breakfast and up to 140 for an evening reception. Hall Place is available for exclusive use and also includes hire of the Tudor kitchen and private North Courtyard, allowing you to relax and enjoy your day in total privacy.
The experienced team and exclusive catering company will be on-hand to help with all aspects of your day, including advising you on recommended suppliers with high levels of expertise and knowledge of the venue. You can choose a package or alternatively the team can put together a bespoke package for you, weaving together all of your requirements to create your perfect day!
