Situated in leafy Hertfordshire, our quiet woodland backdrop of 9 acres of rolling English countryside sets the scene for a stay that's well and truly relaxing. Whilst our heritage stretches back to 1287, we are constantly refurbishing areas around the hotel so that our facilities remain contemporary, hosting an array of bright open spaces perfect for all aspects of your day.

We offer a unique and bespoke service with diverse packages to suit every bride and grooms needs and budgets. We can cater for up to120 guests and would only ever host one wedding exclusively on the day so you are not sharing your wedding day with anyone else.

Hosted in our brand new Oak suite, which is licensed for Civil Ceremonies, Renewals and Blessings, you and your guests can enjoy your own function room with state of the art technology, private bar, foyer area, cloakroom, bathrooms and sun trapped terrace ideal for those warm summer evenings with a BBQ.
