The Bell Inn is an 18th century coaching inn, independently owned by the same family for over 200 years.

The Inn itself, is an authentic Grade II listed building boasting age-old rustic charm with flagstone floors, large open fireplaces and beamed reception rooms, humbly mixed with countrified-chic trimmings – a respectful, flat-capped nod to the old, as well as the new. With an informal feeling throughout and dogs more than welcome, guests can choose to eat wherever they want in up to four areas including the light and airy Garden Room or the warm and intimate Oak Room. And for those staying overnight, there’s 28 en-suite cosy and comfortable bedrooms once more, cleverly blending original features with contemporary comforts.

Proudly local, The Bell Inn loves to welcome and spoil visitors like an old friend, offering genuine hospitality, real ale and seriously good food. Sourcing produce locally, as well as from the family’s New Forest and Scottish estates, the menu serves up a true estate-to-plate experience with an impressive selection of tempting seasonal dishes as well as daily specials.
