The Compass Inn is a medium sized, family run, hotel set in the beautiful South Cotswolds. An 18th century coaching inn with a vine covered Orangery and modern accommodation set in 6 acres of beautifully kept grounds and gardens.
If you are looking for a beautiful, country venue with the flexibility to be able to plan your day exactly as you want it, The Compass will definitely be worth a viewing! Offering weddings at a fair and competitive price, we allow couples the flexibility to plan their day exactly as they wish to have it. We offer a wide selection of food from traditional sit-down meals to BBQ's and paella, and are always open to ideas if you were hoping for something a little different to make your wedding day a true reflection of you as a couple.
We have a few rooms licensed for ceremonies that all offer their own individual style, from the vine covered, fairy-lit Orangery to the classic Avon Room that all offer the perfect space to carry out this meaningful and important part of the day!
The wedding breakfast would usually take place in the Orangery, after which time this would then be cleared back and transformed ready for the evening party.
We also have 26 bedrooms available for any guests that would like to stay overnight, aswell as 6 acres of beautifully kept gardens and grounds to entertain your guests in!
Our friendly and helpful wedding coordinators are always on hand to offer any assistance or guidance, and are happy to book as many appointments as you feel are necessary to ensure you are confident that the day will run exactly as you want it to.

We are quite happy to do much of the work in decorating the venue for you to allow you and your guests the morning to relax and get ready for the big day ahead!
We would usually ask for the DJ/Band to finish by 12.30pm and the bar will close around an hour after.
Professional fireworks are allowed but we would need several weeks notice to notify local residents.

We do have a bridal suite that is offered free of charge on a B&B basis if the ceremony and wedding reception are held with us.
