Shieldhill Castle can be traced back to as early as 1199. The team at this venue has maintained many original features while adding luxurious touches for one-of-a-kind festivities. With an array of event spaces located throughout the former castle, couples will get lost in the charming Scottish landmark as they rejoice in two families becoming one. Picturesque wedding ceremonies can take place in the castle’s 16th-century chapel. A staple of Scottish tradition and family heritage, this quaint space allows you to exchange vows in front of 100 seated guests. Whether you’re religious or not, this striking chapel adds an extra sense of enchantment to your big day.

After your ceremony, you and your guests can reside in the dining room to enjoy delicious food and drink. More informal dinners can take place in the Alexander Room with our Intimate Wedding Package starting from £2000 for 25 guests. Complete with large bay windows and panoramic views of the castle grounds, you and your guests can mingle and admire the gorgeous surroundings in an intimate setting.

For Weddings over 30 guests the Wedding Breakfast and Reception would take place in the expansive marquee. With ample space for 120 seated guests, a dance floor, and stage to have live entertainment or a DJ, you and your guests can dance the night away under the light canopies in this large setting.
