Can we have exclusive use of the venue?
We offer exclusive use of your chosen area for both your ceremony and reception.
Are you licenced for civil ceremonies?
We have several different areas where you can hold your civil ceremony including the Forresters Suite, an elegant space which you can personalise with your own special touches, and our beautiful outdoor Millennium Lawn ceremony area.
Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?
Our Millennium Lawn 'secret garden' ceremony area and gazebo is set alongside our garden and terrace and offers a beautiful backdrop for photographs. Of course we always offer an inside alternative in case the weather does not co-operate.
Am I restricted to certain formats?
No! We are very flexible and do not ask you to stick to any specific format or minimum number. We do offer packages which take the strain out of organising your day but otherwise you can just tell us what you would like and we will be happy to make it happen for you.
Do you charge corkage if we supply our own wine?
We do charge a corkage fee for both still and sparkling wine - please ask for details.
Can we use our own caterers?
All the food we serve at Forrester Park is prepared on the premises by our chefs and we do not use outside caterers. Any food consumed during your celebration, with the exception of a cake, must be supplied by us.
From what time can we get access to decorate the venue?
You can access the venue from 7.30am on the day of your wedding.
What time does the reception need to finish?
We work on the basis of your reception finishing at midnight. We can arrange a later finish time but there will be an extra charge for this - please ask for details.
Are there noise restrictions if we have a live band?
There are no restrictions within reason.
Are fireworks allowed?
We do allow fireworks but they must be booked with a fully-insured professional firework display operator approved by us.
Is confetti allowed?
We love confetti - but please make sure it is kept outside.
Do you require a minimum number?
We do not ask for a minimum number of guests. No matter how small your wedding, do get in touch and we will be happy to help.
Are candles allowed?
Yes, candles are fine.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Our chefs are happy to cater for vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free and other dietary requirements.
Is there a honeymoon or bridal suite?
We do not have accommodation on site but our sister establishment, ten minutes away, is a Grade 2 listed townhouse with a beautiful bridal suite. We will be happy to arrange transport as required.
Is there accommodation on site?
We do not have accommodation on site but our sister establishment, ten minutes away, is a Grade 2 listed townhouse with 15 ensuite rooms. We will be happy to arrange transport as required.
Is there additional accommodation nearby?
Our sister establishment, ten minutes away, has 15 beautifully appointed rooms for both the bridal party and guests. We will be happy to arrange transport as required.
What happens if it rains?
We always have an indoor ceremony area available if the registrar decides that the ceremony cannot take place outside.
Can you do place cards for us?
We are happy to put out place cards on your behalf if you supply us with a table plan.
How do I supply my ceremony music?
We have a PA system for your music which you can supply to us on a CD or USB.
Can I use my own suppliers for decorations, music etc?
We are happy for you to use your own suppliers for flowers, decorations, music etc, or we can arrange them for you. Anyone bringing electrical equipment onto the premises will need to give us a copy of their insurance and PAT testing.
Is there parking on site?
We have ample free parking on site.

A barn conversion set in beautiful countryside, Forrester Park is an independent venue which has been hosting wedding celebrations for over 40 years. The venue is licensed for both indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies.

EATING AND DRINKING
All our food is prepared on the premises by our highly-experienced team of chefs - they have a passion for food, and they love to make people happy!
Create your WEDDING BANQUET from our selection of starters, main courses and desserts, or tell us your own ideas and we will be happy to help. Our menus offer a wide selection of dishes to suit every taste and budget.
We offer lighter BUFFET, BARBECUE and STREET FOOD menus for an evening celebration following a wedding banquet, and a selection of HOT AND COLD CANAPES to accompany your celebration drinks.
Our BAR offers a selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks and we can run it as you wish. We have an extensive WINE LIST to suit all tastes and budgets. If there is something special you would like, just let us know.
