Can we have exclusive use of the venue?
The Italian Villa building is exclusively reserved for you and your guests on the wedding day. All 3 floors are yours!
Are you licenced for civil ceremonies?
Yes. You can either get married in our Verona Suite, Medici Suite or outside in our beautiful Italian Garden.
Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?
Yes you can, in our stunning Italian Garden.
Do you charge corkage if we supply our own wine?
Yes - we can offer a corkage package should you prefer to provide your own drinks for the drinks reception & wedding breakfast.
Can we use our own caterers?
No. We have fabulous in-house caterers to provide your delicious wedding meals.
What time does the reception need to finish?
As standard, the Siena Bar closes at midnight and your DJ or Band must stop at this point. You can pay extra to extend our license and party until 01.00am!
Are fireworks allowed?
Yes. We recommend a particular fireworks company who provide low noise and low debris firework displays.
Is confetti allowed?
We provide dried rose petals for the confetti throw.
Is there accommodation on site?
No accommodation onsite, but we recommend lots of lovely places to say nearby.

The Italian Villa at Compton Acres not only has the grandeur to deliver an unforgettable wedding day but also has the flexibility, as a venue, to host any party or special occasion. Nestled between Poole and Bournemouth, near the exclusive area of Sandbanks.
The elegant Italian Villa combines modern facilities with classic architecture to provide the idyllic venue for any glamorous event. Licensed to perform marriages and civil partnerships, guests can choose to either be pampered for their entire wedding reception at the Villa or simply hold a wedding ceremony in the Verona Suite followed by a walk through the enchanting grotto with photographs taken in the beautiful Italian Garden.
The Venue comprises of three function suites over three floors The Italian Villa has a lift, providing full disabled access. All suites have independent heating and air conditioning, built in sound systems. The Verona and Siena Suites also have built in audio visual screens. There are two licensed bars in the Villa situated in the Medici and Siena Suites.
