Frequently asked questions
Can we have exclusive use of the venue?
Yes! The Main House is exclusively yours for your special day.
Are you licenced for civil ceremonies?
Yes - we have 5 internal rooms that are licenced, as well as two outdoor ceremony locations.
Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?
Absolutely! We have two beautiful outdoor ceremony locations which can seat up to 100 people.
Do you charge corkage if we supply our own wine?
We do charge corkage yes - please contact us for more information.
Can we use our own caterers?
We have an in-house catering team who offer a range of menus to suit all budgets. They are flexible and can help you create your perfect menu if you don't find something you like. You are however welcome to use external suppliers for things like sweet carts or added bits like that.
From what time can we get access to decorate the venue?
Typically from 9am on the day of your wedding. However, if there is no event the day before you are welcome to set up the evening before. Please discuss your requirements with your Wedding Coordinator and we will of course always do our best to be as flexible as possible.
What time does the reception need to finish?
The bar will close at 23:30 with carriages at midnight however we aren't restricted if you want to extend timings. Extensions are priced at £100 per additional 30 minutes.
Are there noise restrictions if we have a live band?
Not at all - you can be as noisy as you like!
Is confetti allowed?
Please only bio-degradable or natural confetti. Our gardens and lake are so beautiful and we'd hate to pollute them with plastic!
Are fireworks allowed?
Sadly because of our animal park, we are unable to permit fireworks. Sparklers are fine though!
Are candles allowed?
Absolutely! We can source them or if you'd prefer to bring your own, that's fine too.
Is there a honeymoon or bridal suite?
Sadly not.
Is there accommodation on site?
Sadly not at this time.
Is there additional accommodation nearby?
We are partnered with a range of local accommodation offerings - please contact us for more information.
