Can we have exclusive use of the venue?
Yes we offer both exclusive use weddings, and non-exclusive use.
Are you licenced for civil ceremonies?
Yes we are licenced for civil ceremonies
Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?
Yes, we have fabulous views for your outdoor wedding ceremony, overlooking the Tamar Valley. You'll need to do the "legal bit" inside, immediately after your outdoor ceremony.
Do you charge corkage if we supply our own wine?
Yes we offer corkage as an option
Can we use our own caterers?
No sorry. We're well known as one of Devon's best wedding venue for foodies, with 6 hugely talented chefs on site. Guests regularly mention that the wedding breakfast at The Horn was the best wedding food they've ever tasted.
Are there noise restrictions if we have a live band?
Are fireworks allowed?
Yes, we just need min 4 weeks notice so we can warn our nearby neighbours.
Is confetti allowed?
yes, biodegradable confetti is permitted.
Are candles allowed?
Yes as long as they are covered (so no naked flames)
Is there a honeymoon or bridal suite?
Yes, we have a choice of 4 different suites.
Is there additional accommodation nearby?
Yes, we have a huge choice of local hotels, restaurants, B&Bs ... and a very smart caravan site all close by.
From what time can we get access to decorate the venue?
Normally we'll have a handover with you the day before your wedding. We'll then do the set-up so that you can focus on your hair and make-up; however if you'd prefer to be involved, that's absolutely fine!
What time does the reception need to finish?
Normally by midnight.
Is there accommodation on site?
Yes we have 16 luxury en suite rooms, accommodating 32 adults and 6 kids.
