Here at Northcote we only do Exclusive Use Weddings. This includes: Choice of 3 licensed venues for your ceremony Gorgeous accommodation for 32 guests, including breakfast served between 8am-10am Full banqueting set for up to 90 guests House flowers and elegant ‘Cheltenham’ chairs Run of the Manor House Your Own Dedicated, Experienced Wedding Coordinator Gardens, woodlands and views over the River Taw and surrounding valleys

Yes. We have our Oak Room which can hold 60 Guests, our Conservatory can hold 90 Guests or outside we have our Sanctuary which can have 30 seated or as many standing as you wish.

We do not allow corkage

We do not allow outside caterers for the main wedding breakfast but we do allow self contained caterers such as hog roast or fish and chip vans for evening nibbles.

Your Exclusive Use starts at Midday of the wedding day. We do ask you to bring you decorations to the venue the day before so that if we can start putting decorations out if not all so you do not have any stress on your wedding day.

Entertainment is in our Oak Room which has a license until 12:30am, non-residents would need to leave at 1am and then we can reopen the bar for residents till 2am.

No there are no restrictions on noise.

Yes we do allow fireworks, we recommend Sonic Fireworks as they know are ground well.

We allow rice, real petals or biodegradable paper and only outside.

Yes we allow real candles anywhere around the hotel as long as there is a base underneath it.

We have 2 bridal suites, but with all 16 rooms you can chose your favourite.

Yes with Exclusive Use you get all 16 bedrooms which allows for 32 guests.

There is the Portsmouth Arms Pub at the bottom of our drive which has a few rooms and several hotels in the local area.
