Set in the enchanting landscapes of Dartmoor, Mill End offers exclusive hire for small weddings with up to 40 guests. Mill End is a haven for those seeking a secluded, romantic venue with astounding, 2 AA awarded fine-dining.
This beautiful country house is located in a stunning area of Dartmoor National Park, the perfect location for your special day. Enjoy full use of this luxury hotel for an entire weekend, waking up to the tranquil sounds of the surrounding countryside with your friends and family. Having exclusive use of Mill End Hotel means you have full, private access to the 8 acre grounds and pretty gardens, public rooms, lounges and the 21 elegant boutique rooms and luxury suites, providing the a truly memorable retreat.
Everyone can relax into the celebrations with complete privacy through out. Many rooms and suites are dog friendly if you wish to make your wedding a four-paw friendly affair, too. Mill End is available exclusively for weekend hire from Monday- Sunday. Please enquire for longer stays and exclusive use during the Winter months.
Our beautiful Summer house is licensed for outdoor wedding ceremonies, so you can celebrate in our beautiful gardens. Should you wish to hold your ceremony indoors, our traditional country house lounges offer an intimate and cosy setting.
As part of the exclusive hire package, 3 course fine-dining wedding breakfasts are included for each wedding guest. Breakfast for all staying guests, the day after the ceremony, will also be included. The multi-award winning restaurant will provide canapés on your special day, inclusive of the hire package. Extra add-on services include add on drinks packages, cream tea, teas and coffees and evening buffet.
Our multi-award winning hotel and 2 AA fine-dining restaurant will give your intimate wedding a touch of luxury in Devon. Head chef Will Broom is passionate about creating sensational, flavourful dishes that showcase Dartmoor’s local produce.

We only offer an exclusive hire package. This is a full weekend exclusive hire, from £13500 including breakfast, wedding breakfasts and canapes.

We are a licensed venue so you are unable to bring your own. We have a bar and restaurant which will be open and fully stocked. We offer additional add-on packages of welcome drinks and so on too.

Our Sustainability Commitments
Our head chef Will Broom is passionate about using local produce, and the award-winning dishes pay homage to Dartmoor. The sublime quality of our food is the result of Devon itself. We elevate fine dining by carefully sourcing the very best local produce, allowing you a truly authentic flavour of Dartmoor. We are dedicated to ensuring our dishes are of the freshest and highest quality, our head chef Will has a deep appreciation for specialty ingredients. It is important for us to support local industries and reduce our food miles, as well as providing a memorable experience for our guests. A detailed list of our suppliers can be found on our menu’s when dining, and on our website. We work with local companies who are driving change in the industry, whether that be using purely no-dig concepts, organic farming methods, using electric vehicles or working to become B corp. As for ourselves, we are proud that our cleaning team use products that do not contain bleach or harmful chemicals. We are keen recyclers and we even re-use our coffee grinds to fertilise the soil around the grounds, to keep our gardens thriving. We support the local community and economy, many of our staff have short journeys to the hotel for work, reducing our carbon footprint. We encourage re-using of hotel towels to reduce our washing loads and water waste. Even our bottled water is produced in-house, using a sophisticated seven-stage filtration and purification system.
