Are fireworks allowed?
Yes as long as they are with a licensed company and they have sent over a copy of their Public Liability Insurance in advance
Is confetti allowed?
Yes, biodegradable confetti (such as dried petals) is allowed
Do you charge corkage?
Yes - £17.50 per bottle of still wine and £27.50 per bottle of sparkling wine.
Is there accommodation on site?
Yes - we have 14 bedrooms on site.
Can we use our own caterers?
We offer two options for the exclusive use; the standard exclusive no you can't as we have our own kitchen team on site. However we now offer a venue only exclusive use, which would mean you could bring your own caterers; please contact us for further details.
Is there a honeymoon or bridal suite?
Not in particular - we have 14 unique and beautiful bedrooms that can be shown to the bride and groom in advance for them to choose their favourite!
How long is the hire period?
Typically 24 hours, longer options are available.
What time does the reception need to finish?
Can we have exclusive use of the venue?
We offer two options, exclusive use where we can host the evening reception too. Or a day wedding option where the celebrations need to be finished by 6pm (ie. no evening reception)
Are there noise restrictions if we have a live band?

Lewtrenchard wedding is like no other. Indeed, our Civil Ceremony licence means you can get married and have the wedding reception all under one very ornate roof. Five of our Public Rooms are registered for hosting ceremonies, so whether it’s a traditional or modern, relaxed or formal, large or small, winter or summer wedding, we have the room to suit your requirements. With a dedicated Wedding coordinator we are also on hand to guide you through the daunting prospect of planning your perfect day, from start to finish. As the special day approaches, we will be able to advise you on everything from the timings of your day through to the finishing touches such as your table decorations and seating plan. Our chef, also provides a very personal service and the opportunity to tailor a bespoke wedding breakfast menu to your specific requirements From a day wedding with an intimate ceremony on the Gallery followed by a Champagne reception on the lawn to exclusive hire of the Manor with a gastronomic feast in a marquee, we firmly believe that your day should be unique, original and everything you wish it to be.
