The Guildhall is situated in the heart of Exeter, and has become an unmistakable piece of Exeter’s history. Having received royalty and dignitaries, your wedding can now be added to the list! With rooms filled with Exeter’s storied past, the Guildhall’s grandeur and elegance make the ideal setting for weddings and civil partnerships. As you walk through the large oak doors and into the lavish Great Hall, with its majestic brass chandelier and intricate panelling, your ceremony will have an unbridled air of romance.
The Great Hall is ideal for large bridal parties, and can accommodate up to 75 guests to see you say ‘I do’, where Lord Mayors have been elected; Members of Parliament have been chosen and Honorary Aldermen were appointed. However, if you are in search of a more intimate affair, why not walk down the aisle of the Jury Room. Able to accommodate up to 35 guests, it is the perfect marriage of intimacy and opulence, still giving a regal ambience while allowing you to be surrounded by only your very nearest and dearest.
