Facilities and capacity
For civil ceremonies, The Old Hall Hotel offers a varied choice of function rooms. Venue license and posting of notices can be done and a private room for the Registrar will be available. Your choices include their Cavendish Room which can accommodate a maximum of 25 people for a seated service or the Restaurant which can accommodate a maximum of 90 people for a seated service.
For wedding receptions, you have two options - the Old Restaurant, which can seat 90 people for wedding breakfast or you can choose the Cavendish Room which can seat 20 guests. You can utilise any rooms for your evening wedding reception with venue space to fit up to 150 guests.
The Old Hall Hotel has several wedding co-ordinators to offer you professional and personalised services. Whether it be floral arrangements, seating plans, selecting the right menu or arranging the first dance, everything will be perfectly planned just the way you always imagined.
The Old Hall Hotel offers 35 beautifully furnished rooms for you to spend your first night as a newly married couple. You can stay in Mary's Bower, believed to be part of Mary Queen of Scots' original apartments, their grandest room with a Four Poster Bed. Or choose from our other unique bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms.
