About Ensana Buxton Crescent
Originally built between 1779 and 1789 by the fifth Duke of Devonshire, The Crescent is a beautiful Grade l Georgian Hotel which will provide a unique and exclusive backdrop for your wedding. Nearing completion and we are due to open in 2020.
The Crescent is one of the most architecturally significant buildings in the country. Inside the property’s uniquely curved, honey-stone façade is a number of stunningly restored function rooms. These include the splendid 18th century Ballroom, known as The Assembly Rooms. These have been fully refurbished to their former beauty with breathtaking original features such as the intricate painted ceiling and pillars. The Assembly Rooms will accommodate a maximum of 120 day guests and 180 evening guests. We are able to hold Civil Ceremonies and Partnerships. At the heart of the renovated Spa will be the original thermal pool, fed by mineral water from a nearby ancient spring (St Ann’s Well). In addition, there will be pampering treatments, specially tailored healthy lifestyle programmes, and a host of relaxation and leisure facilities including a rooftop pool, sauna, steam and ice rooms, a fitness studio and a beauty salon. In addition, we have 81 deluxe bedrooms, including suites, that can accommodate any overnight guests.
