Our manor house with its original features is exclusively yours for your special day and our dedicated staff to support you will ensure its a day to remember!

Nestled in 175 acres of rolling countryside, Cultra Manor is a truly jaw-dropping location. The ideal place for your wedding ceremony and reception to unfold. Boasting a tranquil setting with unique photograph opportunities and guest experiences. You and your guests should get ready to be wowed!

For the ceremony, you can choose from our quaintly restored 1717 church at the heart of the museum to the stylish Drawing Room within the Manor itself. For the wedding reception, the stunning Kennedy Room, with its vintage furniture and sophisticated décor is the ideal place to enjoy your meal.

FAQs

Yes, when you hire Cultra Manor for your wedding day you'll have exclusive use of the Manor.

Unfortunately, we do not allow couples to bring their own wine. Our in-house caterers, Craft Event Co, has a fully-stocked bar and Cultra Manor is a fully licenced venue. If there is a specific wine you would like that is not on our extensive menu, we can usually source it for you with a little notice.

For weddings taking place on Monday - Saturday, the serving of alcohol will stop at 12.30am, any music and entertainment will need to finish at 1am, with guests departing by 1.30am. On Sundays, the bar will be closed at 11.30pm, with music and entertainment stopping at 12am. Guests will need to depart the venue by 12.30am. Please be aware, special timings apply over Easter and Christmas as per NI licensing laws.

Regrettably, fireworks and lanterns are not permitted at the venue due to nearby livestock in the Museum Rural Area and thatched roof buildings in the Folk Museum. However, sparklers can be used outside the Manor for a beautiful exit photo and a fun atmosphere with your guests.

Yes, real petal confetti or biodegradable confetti can be thrown outside the venue.

If the venue isn't being used the day before your wedding, then you and your suppliers are more than welcome to come in and set up then. In the instance the Manor is unavailable the day before your wedding day, we will ensure we make an appointment to get detailed instructions of how you would like the rooms to be decorated and can set this up for you. Suppliers are welcome at the Manor on the morning of your wedding.

Belfast City Centre is situated just 10 minutes away from the venue. There are plenty of hotels and B&Bs there for your guests.

Yes, Cultra Manor is fully accessible. The venue has disabled parking, external ramped access, a lift and accessible toilets on both floors.
