Quirky wedding reception venue in Co, Antrim. Breckenhill is an ideal, secluded and intimate place for a romantic wedding day, in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. We are licensed for civil marriages and partnerships both indoors and out.
At Breckenhill brides and grooms can create their own, personal and unique day. With no packages to tie them down, they can put together the day of their dreams and to suit their budget. We have an extensive list of Recommended Suppliers, though couples are welcome to choose their own caterers, decorators etc if they wish. There is a choice of two barns - one built of stone seating up to 80 upstairs and 30 downstairs, and the other a former agricultural tin-roofed barn that can be dressed up or left as it is, seating up to around 125. With optional additional marquee space, the venue is very flexible. We have two small marquees or larger ones can be hired in. Guests can be entertained with garden games including croquet, tennis and petanque, and we can even lay on an archery session with an instructor. The gardens are available for the ceremony, photos and for guests to walk around, and the front of the Georgian house makes a lovely backdrop for photos. The neighbouring fishery is also a popular spot for photographs.
For couples looking for an alternative wedding venue, that they can make their own for the day, Breckenhill is perfect.
We offer all the help the couple needs in planning the day and try to fulfill their every wish. The venue is available the day before to set up, deliver items, and to have a rehearsal if required, we don't do weddings on consecutive days.
