The Cow Shed at Freathy Farmhouse is an exquisite rustic venue, ideal for elopements, smaller weddings, and intimate rustic weddings for up to 100 treasured guests.

Tucked away down a country lane on the gorgeous Rame Peninsula. The Cow Shed is set in the picturesque and tranquil Cornish countryside, only minutes from the sea. We are licensed for Civil Ceremonies and welcome small weddings for two or two plus a few, right up to intimate rustic weddings for up to 100 treasured guests.

We have sympathetically restored our Cow Shed Barn, Old Milking Parlour and 18th Century Farmhouse as a labour of love to create what we believe is a unique and very special rustic venue. The Cow Shed is not a purpose built wedding venue and we do not book back to back weddings. This means that we are able to give our couples our undivided attention. We take great pride in our flexible and personalised approach, and place the utmost importance on putting our couples at the centre of all that we do. Our aim is to help every couple have the exact wedding that they want, within their ideal budget, and enable them to relish every moment of their intimate and blissfully carefree day.
