Old School Bar and Kitchen is an award-winning contemporary Gastro Pub in Mount Hawke, Cornwall near Truro, located in a recently refurbished iconic school building in the heart of the village. This family-run business is focused on providing friendly service in a wonderful setting whilst serving innovative, high quality food created from locally sourced produce to ensure the freshest of flavours.

Due to the unique character of the school building, guests can enjoy a variety of different rooms to suit their individual needs. Our dedicated event planner is on hand to support you, ensuring that your event is a standout success.

Both the snug, with its comfortable leather armchairs, and the mezzanine floor are lovely areas for smaller parties. They both offer a more intimate and private setting for your function.

In total we can accommodate up to 200 guests in the building for a truly memorable event or celebration.
