The Salutation Hotel is situated in the heart of the historic City of Perth. The Oldest established hotel in Scotland, the Salutation has been welcoming guests through it’s doors since 1699. Today, the welcome is as warm as it ever was. Part of the growing Strathmore Hotel Group, the Salutation offers traditional hospitality with all modern comforts. The hotel has 84 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. In addition to our standard rooms, we offer superior rooms and a four poster bedroom, as well as our award winning special care “accessible” bedrooms.
The hotel is just a short walk from the beautiful River Tay and popular Norie Miller Walk and Rodney Gardens, an ideal location for wedding photographs.
The Moncrieffe Suite, is our main function room and can accommodate 230 guests for a wedding meal and the evening reception.
The hotel holds a Civil Marriage License and our Adam Restaurant is ideal for a Marriage Ceremony and can hold 80 guests. The restaurant boasts an original barrel-vaulted ceiling and neo-classical James Adam window.
We can tailor your wedding reception to your exact requirements and will be pleased to advise on menu selection, wines and drinks packages, tables layouts and seating plans. We are also pleased to help with any other advice or contacts you may require, such as bands and entertainers, florists and wedding cars.
