Celebrate your wedding against the picture-perfect backdrop of this much-loved family home. Elton Hall is a truly exclusive choice as it is offered to only a handful of couples a year. Choose between two beautiful ceremony spaces - our idyllic Orangery and our elegant Victorian Billiard Room. The Billiard Room is also perfect for wedding breakfasts, with the adjacent Coach House for dancing the night away.
If your dream is a big "do", our extensive parkland is idyllic for your choice of marquee with green fields as far as the eye can see.
You and your guests will be able to enjoy our award-winning gardens at leisure during your time with us. Stroll on our lawns, wander amongst the billowing borders in the Flower Garden, host drinks in our topiary garden or on the Orangery terrace or take a quiet moment beside the sunken pond. There are countless magical spots for your all-important photographs.
We know every couple wants to make their day unique and we are happy for you to personalise your wedding with your own choice of suppliers.

Yes, absolutely. The venue is just for your and your guests.
Yes. We have two licensed ceremony spaces - our Billiard Room for up to 70 and our Orangery for a maximum of 45. Our licensing authority is Cambridgeshire.
Yes. Our Orangery is a licensed outdoor venue. It is available for a maximum of 40, with up to 10 people inside and the remainder of the guests seated on the terrace. Note that, in common with all outdoor venues, licensing rules apply and the Registrars' decision is final if the weather is poor.
No. Bring your own, if you wish, and remember the corkscrews.
Yes. We know everyone likes to choose. We are happy to recommend suppliers if you prefer. Our Billiard Room has a small catering kitchen which is available to hire separately.
We are as flexible as we can be. We can usually arrange for you to decorate the day before and we are happy to receive suppliers - florists, venue dressers - for you.
We say all "off site" by midnight at the latest. Honestly, you will be happy to have some "alone time" by then.

Unfortunately, not. We are in the middle of a quiet village - and we have sheep.
Unfortunately, not. Sadly, we find that it spreads everywhere. Our gravel becomes weedy and the water pump on the fountain and pond become blocked. Who wants weeds and no fountain on their wedding day?
The risk of fire in our historic setting is too great, unfortunately. However, there are so many beautiful alternatives nowadays you will be spoilt for choice.
