The Longhouse is a family run Somerset wedding venue with three romantic licensed ceremony locations to choose from & incredible views of the Somerset countryside. We can cater for up to 140 guests and guarantee a very personal service.
The Longhouse is a beautiful Somerset wedding venue that is located in the picturesque town of Bruton. We can cater for up to 140 guests during the day and 200 in the evening.
The Longhouse is stylish, contemporary and unique with incredible views overlooking our landscaped gardens, the Brue valley and gorgeous Somerset countryside beyond. There are lots of reasons to choose the Longhouse for your wedding and the views are just one of them! With no corkage fee, a complimentary Bridal suite and three characterful locations to choose from for your ceremony we are confident that we are the perfect place for your perfect day.
At the Longhouse we understand that every wedding is special and we work hard to help you deliver a unique day that you love. We will help you plan your wedding just how you want it to be and will offer advice on local Somerset suppliers for food, photos and entertainment. We take pride in helping you have the perfect wedding and are always ready to help you plan your decorations and accommodation.
We know that setting up a wedding can be stressful so we provide full access to the Longhouse and grounds on Friday afternoon before the wedding to leave Saturday free to just enjoy the day.
