Yes the Victoria Walled Garden is a ideal setting for an outdoor ceremony

N/A. Our chefs pride themselves on sourcing produce from our gardens and local suppliers only.
From what time can we get access to decorate the venue?
You have exclusive use of the venue from midday, our team will be available to setup for you on the morning of the wedding. Alternatively we can look to accommodating setup the evening before, subject to availability.
Are there noise restrictions if we have a live band?
Live music is permitted until midnight

Available 7 days a week and exclusively yours from midday to midnight, this magical venue offers plenty of flexibility for you to create your dream day. You can say “I do” in front of 70 guests in the barn before making the most of the stunning gardens and enjoying a glass of bubbly or two as you mingle with your nearest and dearest. Alternatively, you can marry at the local church before being greeted with welcome drinks back at the barn.
When it comes to your wedding breakfast, you’re in great hands with The Barn at Old Down. All ingredients used in the kitchens are locally sourced and, where possible, organic or raised on the estate. The experienced catering team will create a menu to delight and impress your guests, for a memorable start to your evening.
The Barn at Old Down will also provide plenty of drinks options, keeping everything flowing as you begin your evening reception. The Barn will be totally transformed to fit your theme, so all you need to worry about is your dance moves!
