About Midelney Manor
Midelney Manor has a wonderful atmosphere and is very peaceful. We are a bespoke venue which means each wedding is completely unique. We have a very flexible approach and work closely with you to ensure you have your wedding exactly as you wish!
Stepping out of the house and into the 17th Century walled garden definitely has the “wow” factor and makes an idyllic setting for drinks and canapés. Beyond this garden lie several others including the Round Garden, which is perfect for a large marquee or tipi. Ancient oak trees, flower filled borders and well thought out planting create a beautiful English country garden.
Set in the heart of the garden lies the beautiful 18th Century Potting Shed. This huge barn has lovely old stonework and ancient beams covered in 1920’s flower show prize cards. It has many uses including, a bar lounge, ceremony or reception space. There is a fabulous bar and the room is filled with chesterfield sofas, eclectic furniture, Persian rugs and old family portraits on the walls! It’s a wonderfully quirky and original space. At the bottom of the garden lies Washams Woods which is magical setting for a woodland blessing!
