Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?
Our Secret Walled Garden is the perfect romantic spot to host your civil ceremony outside, totally secluded from the main hotel its the perfect place for your guests to gather, enjoy the sunshine and watch you say your I dos! Don't worry we will always have a wet weather indoor back up plan up our sleeves ready for you in case the sun doesn't want to come out to play.
Are fireworks allowed?
Due to the proximity of our neighbours and livestock, we only allow silent fireworks supplied by one of our nominated suppliers on our website. Please ask the wedding team for more information. We love a pretty sparkler send off at the end of a wedding night, another great photo opportunity too!
Is confetti allowed?
Yes of course - it's all part of the fun of a fabulous wedding day, and provides a fantastic group photo too. We do just ask your guests throw bio-degradable confetti outside in the grounds.

We have 66 bedrooms in total at Royal Berkshire (including one fully accessible bedroom). If you are hiring the hotel exclusively you and your guests will have access to all of the bedrooms.
