Frequently asked questions
How long can we provisionally hold our Wedding booking for?
We can hold your provisional booking for 14 days with no obligation. At this time we will require a written confirmation.
How do I confirm a booking?
We would ask you for an initial deposit of £1,000.00, which is non-refundable in order to guarantee your date. We will then prepare an Agreement and ask you to sign and return this ailing with our Terms & conditions.
What happens then after I confirm my booking?
Six month before we will require another £1,000.00 payment. Three months prior we will arrange a date for your complimentary menu tasting to decide on your menu. One month prior we will invite you for a final appointment to discuss the following details: • Timing on your day • Final numbers for your ceremony, wedding breakfast & evening reception • Menu choices – wedding breakfast, dietary requirement, children’s menus & evening buffet • Arrangement for flowers, decorations and favours
When is the final balance due?
After your final details meeting we will send you an updated pro forma with payment due two weeks before the wedding date
Who will be my contact on my wedding day?
Our Operations team will be running the wedding. We will run through the day and confirm any final details with them at the final details meeting. The coordinator you originally booked with will also be there on the day to oversee/assist.
What sort of linen can I have?
Our standard linen colour is white; if an alternative linen colour is required an additional cost may occur. We can also arrange chair covers, garland etc. at an additional charge.
Table plans and stationary
Seating plans and names of guests are to be provided to the hotel one month prior.
Who will do the announcements?
Within the package our Banqueting Manager will act as the Toastmaster during the Wedding. We can however, recommend professional Toastmasters.
Evening Room Hire
Evening room hire is included in our wedding package on the understanding that an evening buffet will be catered for at least 75%, if this is not the case a supplement charge of £1,000.00 will apply.
Flowers/ Table Centrepieces
The allocation of money is decided when the minimum number have been set for the Wedding. The minimum numbers are set for adults and not for children. The general guideline is one centrepiece per guest table. Our recommended suppler is AddStyle.
What are my entertainment options?
The hotel can arrange a DJ for the Wedding and is more often than not included in the package. If not, the charges are: until 12am £450.00 until 1am £525.00
What if guests drop out after the balance has been paid?
Once your numbers are confirmed and paid for this is non- refundable.
New Set Packages – what if my numbers aren’t exact
The packages are such good value that they are a set price, even if the numbers are less then the package is based on.
What is the accommodation price for wedding guests?
Bedrooms are available at our reduced rate of: £69.00 bed & breakfast for a single rooms £79.00 bed & breakfast for a double or twin
What if don’t want a disco included in my inclusive wedding package?
The package price does not change if you remove items.
