Frequently asked questions
How far are you willing to travel?
I'm happy to travel within the UK and Ireland
Do you charge travel costs?
For travel that is beyond 100 mile radius of Warrington, there would be additional charges to cover the cost of fuel for driving. If weddings are in Ireland or other destination wedding locations, then travel and accommodation costs would need to be factored in.
What packages do you offer?
My packages are bespoke and designed with my customers based upon what they want. I'm always happy to advise and make suggestions, but I will never push additional add ons on to a client.
What do your prices start at?
Prices start from £500.
How long will it take to get my wedding photographs after the wedding?
Usually an initial proofing gallery is provided within 3-5 days of the wedding.
How many photographs will I receive?
Dependent upon the package, but usually a minimum of 250 images.
Do you offer a discount for midweek weddings or shorter sessions?
Yes, pricing is bespoke and midweek weddings, out of season weddings or specific adjustments such as ceremony only, would receive discounted pricing.
Do you work alone or with a second photographer?
I work alone currently.
About Sarah Dunwood Photography
Experienced wedding photographer, covering NW, UK and Ireland. Destination weddings also available. Flexible, adaptable and accommodating. Engagement / pre wedding shoot included in pricing. Combining Formal and candid/reportage photography styles.
I've been a freelance photographer for over a decade as a passion project alongside a full time teaching career. The first wedding I photographed was in 2006 and it was my Dad's wedding, so the pressure was truly on to get it absolutely right! Since then, I've shot a number of weddings in the UK and one in Ireland. This year, I have made the decision to move to photography as a full time career, as it is the thing I love most - capturing moments and making them into memories to treasure is something that genuinely brings me joy.
I've also been recognised by Theo Paphitis (Dragon's Den, Ryman) as a winner of his Small Business Sunday award via Twitter which has raised my brand awareness nationally.
I'm versatile and skilled in a range of photography genres, including portraiture, weddings, baby/newborn, headshots and portfolio work and artistic landscape photography. I love learning new skills and I'm always looking for ways to develop my expertise.
As a former teacher, I am an effective communicator, problem solver and I'm very used to making rapid decisions and adjustments to my working processes. I'm organised, efficient and have great time management skills as well as being able to build a rapport with a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds. These attributes have served me well in my photography work, enabling me to respond to client requirements, creating and delivering personalised, bespoke packages that work for them.
