About Groove Allstars

Groove Allstars are the North of England’s elite wedding band, consisting of a collection of top session musicians.Having just won The National Wedding Industry Award 2017 for best band in the North and Yorkshire we can guarantee a night to remember.

Each member of Groove Allstars has been specially selected for their area of expertise and style and together they are by far the coolest, funkiest and freshest party band available to hire today. Based out of Newcastle, our party band services not only Tyne and wear, the north of England and Scotland but also the rest of the UK and Europe.

Available from a 6 to 11 piece, our party band perform dance floor classics from the funk, soul and Motown era, with a sprinkling of modern day hits for good measure. To say you guys were great would be a major understatement. We knew from your repertoire and online reel that you guys were going to be good, but you blew everyone away. Your vocals and musicianship were just outstanding and all of our guests had a total blast. Not surprisingly, several people told me "this is the best wedding band I've ever seen." We agree and were particularly impressed with your ability to fuse new music with funk and disco classics to make truly excellent sets. And you played our wedding song perfectly. Best moment of my life.

We really cannot thank you guys enough for making the trip to Italy to celebrate with us. If Alex and I are ever in Newcastle drinks are on us!! :)

Please send our sincere thanks to everyone in the band. What a night!

Just want to say a huge thank you to the amazing Groove Allstars. They played at our wedding at Guyzance Hall in June. They were extremely professional and really listened to what we wanted. The music was outstanding and the dance floor was packed all night. We were so impressed. Cannot rate them highly enough and would definitely recommend. The highlight was their rendition of Three Little Birds by Bob Marley which they learnt for our first dance. Thanks again to all of you- you really made our night!

We had Groove Allstars for our wedding evening at Lumley Castle and they were a perfect choice. For such an occasion with a mix of ages and tastes it is not always easy to find the right band and music mix to suit everyone. Groove Allstars put on a great show with the perfect blend of music available in their repertoire to choose from so that everyone had a great night. Thank you!!
