A wedding string quartet, Fortune String Quartet & Trio is available to hire for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions and breakfasts. With classical, jazz and modern music, we have a wide repertoire to satisfy all tastes!

Based in Lichfield, Fortune String Quartet is a well-presented ensemble of rather talented musicians - we offer string quartets and string trios for special occasions. Alongside our classical selection, we have a vast array of modern pop and jazz music - all performed by some of the finest and most accomplished string performers in the Midlands region.

All of the Fortune players, including Sarah, Rachael, Siân, Mark, John and Karen, have studied at the UK's top music conservatoires. Our Fortune String Quartet players are experts at providing beautifully-arranged quality music for your wedding, any special occasion or private function...between us, we have performed at 1000+ weddings and events!

For more intimate events and venues, our Fortune String Trio is the perfect choice, particularly for those who have limited space or fewer than 70 guests. An excellent repertoire, although smaller than that of the Fortune String Quartet, encompasses all tastes.

Fortune Strings has the privilege of working with musicians who perform regularly with The CBSO, The Hallé Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic, and who have played at venues (to name just a few) such as The Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, The Barbican and even Glastonbury!
