About Eluned Hollyman Harpist
Eluned Hollyman is a young but experienced Welsh harpist, based in Cardiff, South Wales. Eluned has a broad range of repertoire and styles, from jazz to musicals to classical, and often plays at recitals, weddings and private functions.
As a soloist, Eluned has been a finalist in the Urdd Eisteddfod multiple times, as well as winning National Eisteddfod 16-19 category in 2014. She has been Caerphilly Young Musician of the Year as well as making multiple solo appearances in concerts with male voice choirs. Eluned has played in many ensembles, including performing for HRH Prince Charles' 70th birthday celebration at the RWCMD, a duet with Catrin Finch, National Youth Orchestra of Wales, and Four Counties Youth Orchestra. Masterclasses at RWCMD have included Catrin Finch, Isabel Perrin, Anneleen Lenaerts and Alice Giles.
Eluned also enjoys playing as a member of the Willow Trio, a Cardiff based chamber group formed in 2016. The group comprises of harp, cello and flute and have performed at venues such as the National Museum in Cardiff and the Wales Millenium Centre in the 2018 National Eisteddfod.
Studying with Caryl Thomas at the Royal Welsh College at Music and Drama, she is in her final year.
