Award winning, highly experienced, fun loving, professional string quartet, trio and duo with over 800 arrangements in wide variety of styles. We are available for all aspects of your wedding from ceremony through to your wedding breakfast.

Sonore is an award winning professional string duo, trio or quartet and are founding members of the Association of British Wedding Businesses. Highly experienced with over 120 years collective professional music making, performing in orchestral concerts, theatre, operas and chamber music groups as well as playing in the quartet. We try to use the same core group of players ensuring a consistent Sonore sound. As great friends this shows in the enjoyment and energy we have in our playing.
Skilled at ‘reading’ our audiences, we can adapt to this with the pieces we play. Many of our arrangements (over 800!) are done by our players are unique to Sonore - we can also create arrangements for you. Sonore has a wide-ranging repertoire - from well-known classics to current pop music. Many other event professionals comment on the depth and quality of our sound and the range of styles we perform in.
We have played at prestigious venues including Windsor Castle, Blenheim Palace, Bath Assembly Rooms, Leeds Castle, Kirtlington Park House, and IoD on Pall Mall.
Our players studied with teachers from top UK conservatoires; worked with conductors such as Sir Neville Marriner, Sir Yehudi Menuhin; and with Bochmann and Chilingirian Quartets; as well as with Royal Scottish National, BBC Concert Orchestra, BBC Radio Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic.
Each wedding is both individual and special and we take pride in working with you to create the perfect musical atmosphere for your special day.
