The Shakespeare Hat Company, based in Whatstandwell, near Matlock, in North Derbyshire, makes truly bespoke hats and fascinators for weddings and the races, special occasions, Mother of the Bride wear, bridal fascinators and everyday wear.

The Shakespeare Hat Company is based near the National Trust owned Shining Cliff Woods, between the Amber Valley and the Derbyshire Dales. If you are looking for a hat or a fascinator, I can show you a variety of styles and materials (either by arranging a visit, by email, or by post) and we can discuss exactly what suits you.

Each hat I make is truly bespoke. By discussing and agreeing details right from the start, we can ensure that your hat is custom-made for you.

If you are unsure as to what you want, or simply have a dress that you would like to accessorise with, we can look through colour swatches, samples of different materials and Hat & Fascinator designs to create your ideal hat.

If you have something extra in mind, such as a matching bag or a corsage, we could design it together.

I exhibit at fayres and events and have been known to talk for the WI and ladies groups, on how my hats are made.
