Bartley Lodge Hotel was originally built as a New Forest hunting lodge and is well-known by historians as the former home of famous geologist Charles Lyell, a man who changed the way the world viewed the formation of the Earth.
You can enjoy breakfast in the Orangery and cool afternoon drinks on the terrace, while delicious meals made from local produce are served in the elegant Crystal Restaurant. The setting combined with our AA Rosette makes it extremely popular with locals as well as hotel residents.
