After carefully considering appropriate venues, we decided the China Fleet Country Club met all our requirements and arranged a meeting with Julie Monk. It is worth pointing out that we had decided on a James Bond theme and envisaged an extremely detailed wedding. We found Julie to be very approachable with a 'can do' attitude. This meant we were able to have numerous meetings in the run up to the wedding to ensure everything was on track. Julie was really helpful, informative and provided some excellent recommendations.
The Wedding Breakfast proved to be a perfect spectacle in line with the theme and some guests were truly surprised at the level of detail. The food was of extremely good quality too!
Julie was also assisted by Kevin Williams who was equally helpful. He helped serve breakfast the day after the wedding to a large number of guests and presented a couple of surprise birthday gifts to the Bride (by which time she had been reduced to tears of joy!). Many guests commented on the quality of the breakfast.
We received lots of positive feedback from guests including comments that they felt it was the best wedding ever and expressing the general helpfulness from all staff at the China Fleet Country Club.
Julie really made the most special day in our lives a truly memorable one. Julie acted above and beyond her remit as evidenced when she ensured that all of our items, used in decorating the wedding breakfast, were ready for collection the following day. This really ensured that our departure was hassle free. Whilst it may not be the most picturesque of locations, this is made up by the quality of service.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the China Fleet Country Club as a wedding venue.

Got married at the CFCC on the 18th October, what can I say, from start to finish the whole day was outstanding. Julie and her team do the club proud. She is well organised and knows exactly how to deal with a nervous bride and groom!
We had our ceremony, wedding "breakfast" and reception here so people didn't have to move around too much.
Food was amazing and the rooms looked fantastic, we even managed to get out onto the grounds for photos. Everyone who stayed overnight commented on how good the apartments were as well.

I would definitely recommend that anyone looking to get married in Cornwall, take a look at the China Fleet, it would be worth it!

Julie and her staff were faultless through the day and nothing was too much hassle. Everything was planned and timed to perfection so every once of stress was lifted and we also got free roam of the golf course for pictures that will last a lifetime. A brilliant day that could not have gone better
