An Independent Celebrant. I can help you turn your romantic dreams into reality by creating and delivering a beautiful, bespoke and heartfelt wedding ceremony with no restrictions. A ceremony that reflects your wishes, your values, your choices!
I am calm, kind, inclusive and caring. I will go out of my way to help make sure your special day runs smoothly and is everything you could wish it to be. With a background in Human Resources, Training and Development I have spent many years working with people and supporting them during significant times in their lives.
I love to work with couples from all different backgrounds and heritages, creating something very personal and meaningful. From our initial meeting, the planning process allows time for the exploration of your wishes, beliefs and ideas around the kind of wedding ceremony that you, as a couple, might want. My ceremonies vary in style and content and can be written in a ‘humanist’ style i.e., with no religious or spiritual content at all or we can incorporate a mixture of spiritual and symbolic content to reflect your personal beliefs, your values and your personalities.
I am passionate about making sure my couples feel looked after and in safe hands. I am very organised and love a list or three! I enjoy meeting people to find out about themselves and their loved ones in order to create a unique service that they will remember and treasure forever. I love to hear your ideas, combine old and new traditions and mix things up a little. Almost anything goes and the only limit is your imagination! Registrars have the power to marry you in the eyes of the law. Celebrants will help you to create a personalised bespoke ceremony, taking place wherever and whenever you would like. You can include personalised vows, live music and family. One of the greatest joys of creating a celebrant-led ceremony is that almost anything goes and the answer is almost always “yes!”
Yes, I will get to know you as a couple, hear your love story, your hopes and dreams and create a beautiful bespoke ceremony like no other.

Yes please. We start with a video call where you can ask me questions and I can hear a little about your plans. If you decide I am the celebrant for you we will arrange a face to face ceremony planning meeting. This can incorporate a visit to the venue where possible.
It is advisable to book as far in advance as possible to ensure you secure your chosen date.
My prices start at £425 for a Vow Renewal ceremony or £625 for a Wedding Ceremony. Unity Rituals can be added at an additional cost. I am always happy to talk to you about your specific requirements in more detail.
Yes! You can do this yourself or your celebrant can help you. You will have plenty of guidance from your celebrant throughout the whole process to offer help if you need it. You’re welcome to use traditional recognised wedding vows if you prefer, or simply have no vows at all – it’s your wedding celebrated the way you want!
No, that is the joy of having an independent celebrant led ceremony. You can include as many songs, hymns and readings as you wish – whether religious or non-religious, traditional or modern. You can even write your own words and have guests read out something personal for you. if you want a fantasy-themed wedding with costumes, celebrants are always happy to join in, dress the part and even act a certain way if you want them to; you can incorporate your children or pets into the ceremony; you can have your ceremony in your garden, on a beach, by a stream or up a mountain, at the break of dawn or under the stars. Other officiants are more likely to say no to an outrageous concept, a remote location or unique wardrobe; however, an Independent Celebrant will make sure that your big day is exactly as you dream it to be. The only limit is your imagination!
