As an independent celebrant, I am free to create your personal ceremony and include what's important to you. You and your partner deserve more than an insert name here ceremony and by choosing to have a celebrant you will have a truly personal and meaningful ceremony that celebrates your unique love story at the venue of your choice. This is ideal if you want to include religious or cultural traditions within your ceremony or if you want something non-traditional. There really are no limits to what can be included (within reason and venue dependent) and I am here to guide and support you throughout.
I specialise in magical Celtic & Pagan handfasting ceremonies that are more than just tying your hands. The handfasting ceremony is perfect for Pagans, nature-loving people, even Game of Thrones fans or those that are looking for something non-traditional and a bit different. One thing is for sure though, a handfasting ceremony can be deeply meaningful & symbolic. Perfect for outdoor and indoor ceremonies, connect back to nature and honour your ancestors by taking part in the same marriage ceremonies they would have used hundreds of years ago.

As an independent celebrant, I don't have the same constraints as a registrar. I get to know you both and your ceremony is created and focused around your love story and your needs.
The main difference is that a humanist ceremony will not contain any religious content. As an independent celebrant, I offer more choice, even blending different religious content.
My wedding packages start at £400.
Yes and much more! It's not just the words but the symbolic actions, logistics, timings, music and your VIPs. You won't need to worry about any aspect of your ceremony.
At least two months before your date giving us time to get to know each other and craft the ceremony. Ideally, as much time as you can so there is no rushing and we can get everything right
Yes, absolutely and I recommend doing this because it adds personality and authenticity to your ceremony. Of course, I am here to guide support with this.
No, but the usual structure would be opening welcome, the telling of your love story, exchange of rings and/or vows/promises and then closing words. You could include symbolic actions too.
Yes, love is love and I am passionate about creating ceremonies that are unique as each couple is. Every ceremony is personal and authentic to the couple.
Yes, I love learning about different religious rituals and cultures and enjoy finding new and meaningful ways to bind people together in love.
Ideally yes but it's not essential, there is always Zoom. I do find that it's useful to meet at the venue before but it's not absolutely necessary.
Not at the moment but this also means that your ceremony can include almost whatever you want with none of the restrictions that come with the legal ceremony.
