I am a firm believer that Love is Love. As an Independent Wedding Celebrant in England, I am able to actively help all couples to exert their rights to get married without restriction by creating and delivering the beautiful wedding ceremony of their dreams. To give you a flavour of the next steps, here's the typical process for your unique ceremony:
Initial meeting (free) to discuss your thoughts and ideas and for you to decide if I'm the right celebrant for you - it's of paramount importance that you choose someone that you're 100% comfortable with.

If you choose me - we'd then discuss further details - what style of ceremony you'd like, how you guys met, how the story progressed and how you arrived at this point. We'll also discuss (amongst other things) who's who in your wedding party, and what music / readings you'd like to use - if you're not sure don't worry because I have ideas to help you decide.

I can then start to create your bespoke ceremony script and you'll receive draft copies of this until you're totally delighted with the final 'plan'.

A few days before the wedding we'll have a rehearsal with the main wedding party in attendance so that you all feel comfortable and know what to expect.
​
On the wedding day I will be a calming presence and will guide you and your guests through a unique ceremony to remember!

Yes this is a really important point. Your celebrant will want to get to know you in order to tailor your ceremony around your personalities and styles. I would want to find out a little about your main wedding party too, in order to deliver a personal touch to the proceedings. It's also nice if I can get some information from your main wedding party about their first impressions of your 'spouse to be' and any funny stories which can be woven into the service should you wish.
