About Fiona Solomon Celebrant

Every love story is special but yours is unique! I am an experienced, professional and friendly wedding Celebrant based in Cornwall. I have delivered wedding ceremonies in castles, on cliffs and beaches, in barns, beautiful hotels and back gardens.

A little bit about me....

After attending 4 celebrant led weddings, I knew it was time for a change of career after 40 years in banking. I completed my NOCN Diploma in Celebrancy and set up my business in 2017.

In 2021 I moved from Northern Ireland to the beautiful North Coast in Cornwall with my Cornish husband, son and dogs. As my husband was in the military we travelled for several years but are now truly "home"

Your ceremony is the most important part of your day and should be unique and filled with love and laughter. I will work with you to design and deliver exactly the ceremony you want including beautiful poetry, intimate symbolic gestures and personal vows.

You can choose the day, the time and the place; why not on a Monday afternoon or an evening candle lit ceremony? I am available 24/7, so think outside the box and plan something really special and different.
By involving family and friends, your guests will feel really connected and involved in your ceremony and will always remember the beautiful words of love and commitment that you share.

Check out my reviews on my website and give me a call for a no obligation chat together. It is really important that we connect as you are sharing and trusting me with your private love story and dreams.

Let's celebrate love!

FAQs

A Registrar is required to legally register your marriage - the same as registering a birth or death. It is a short legal process with restricted wording. A Celebrant is your story teller and they will create a unique and bespoke ceremony with beautiful poetry and personal vows. They can also offer a number of symbolic gestures within your ceremony ; a memory candle for a loved on, a hand fasting or perhaps a family sand ceremony. Life is all about choice - make sure you choose a celebrant for the most important part of your day.

An Independent celebrant can offer you total choice in your ceremony wording. A Humanist celebrant is restricted as to what they can include as member of the Humanist Society.

Yes with your help, I can write the full ceremony - or you may like me to help you to write your vows?

Yes - I can simply guide you to ensure that the ceremony is exactly as you want it and deliver it for you.

No - Nothing "must be" included. A Celebrant ceremony is all about choice - so you choose what you would like included.

Yes - I am delighted to work with all couples and tell their unique love stories. I strongly believe that life is about choice for everyone.

Yes I am delighted to work with couples of all faiths.

I really love to meet up and have a coffee together but if that isn't possible then a Zoom "meeting is a great alternative. Many couples live outside Cornwall but want to get married here!

My price is £600 and includes hand ribbons made to match your colour scheme, a presentation script and a wedding ceremony certificate The only additional charge is for mileage > 50 miles.

If you really need me for a key date then book as soon as you book your venue. However there are always available dates at short notice if you decide on a surprise ceremony. What about a Sunday wedding and everyone takes Monday off?

No - only a Registrar or Minister can legally register your marriage.
