About The Pizza Project

Over the last 8+ years we've served authentic wood-fired pizzas from our custom-designed ovens and pizza vans to hundreds of weddings across the UK. We’ve served at all types of weddings from formal sit-downs to rustic barns and festival marquees.

What Do We Do At A Wedding?

Our goal is to make the entire process as simple and stress-free as possible. Our ovens are fully independent and require no external electricity or water supply, and we have experienced every type of venue going. We will bring our pizza oven to your wedding location and get everything set up with minimal impact on your planning. Leave the logistics to us!

Once we have set up at your wedding our team of expertly trained pizza chefs will hand-stretch, prepare, cook, slice and serve up Neopolitan style pizzas onto stylish, rustic chopping boards before your eyes! Your guests are welcome to help themselves buffet-style and most people love to watch us at work! We only use freshly prepared, never frozen, pizza dough that’s hand-made in our commercial kitchen and left to rise for at least 24 hours.

The proof is in the pizza and we pride ourselves on delivering you one of the best tasting pizzas you’ve ever experienced! We serve hundreds of pizzas every month, regularly create new and delicious unique Special pizzas and can be found at regular street food pitches across Surrey. The Pizza Project has a range of mobile pizza ovens and vans that can be used at most major event venues in an outdoors area. All our ovens are traditional hand-built stone pizza ovens and at around 450 degrees they capable of cooking thin-based Neapolitan-style pizzas in under 2 minutes.
