The Wedding Industry Awards

The Awards: The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) – The only regional and national, client-voted awards recognising and rewarding excellence in the UK wedding industry.

Entering the Awards: Wedding suppliers can enter the awards in one of 27 categories and 11 regions of the UK. Open to all wedding suppliers based in the UK. There is a £60 entry fee. Voted for by clients only and judged by the largest and most expert panel in the industry.

The Awards process: Each entrant creates a profile visible on the TWIA web site and asks their wedding clients to vote for them. Only eligible clients who have actually used the suppliers for their weddings can vote. Voting is not just based on number of votes, so a variety of wedding suppliers can compete regardless of size. After voting ends, regional shortlists are drawn up using voter data and the input of a judging panel. Regional winners are announced at a series of regional awards events in November. The regional winners go through to the national final, the winners of which are announced at the national awards event in London in January 2016.
