New updates to the Guides for Brides Business Hub
We’ve recently given our Business Hub a new makeover to make it easier, cleaner and more intuitive for businesses to use. You’ll be able to see all your latest stats up front, as well as respond to reviews directly, upgrade your advert and download tools for your own website. Here’s our walkthrough guide to the brand new Business Hub…
When you first log in to the Business Hub, you’ll immediately be able to see your enquiries, advert views and reviews up front. Advert interactions includes your ‘more info’ clicks, enquiries, reviews, website clicks, phone number reveals and appearances in brides’ planners.
Beneath this, you can also see your latest enquiry and your latest review, both of which can be responded to from the dashboard. You’ll also be able to see who your account manager is, so if you have any questions you’ll be able to drop them a line directly.
If you’re advertising more than one business, or your advert appears in more than one category, you’ll be able to swap between them using the drop-down menu at the top of your dashboard.
From there, you can then navigate all of the settings you need via the sidebar menu. The categories and functions of the Business Hub are much the same as our previous versions – we’ve just made it easier to navigate and find exactly what you need to promote your business.
Manage your advert
We’ve made it easier to see and make changes to your advert straight away. Here’s a short guide to each area:
See how your advert appears on the Guides for Brides website.
Add and edit key information on your advert, such as name and description, pricing information and your profile picture.
We’ve made it a lot easier to add up to 50 images to your advert. Don’t forget to name your images with descriptive titles and add search tags so that your images perform well on searches.
Advert contact details
Add your business contact information, address and business hours.
Filters for advert
This will only appear for wedding venues. Adding information like the venue setting, types of ceremony offered and facilities will help narrow down searches for brides.
Add a video tour of your venue, or a video gallery of your images.
Our availability calendar is an important tool to help brides find your available dates, with the added bonus that any late dates appear in our Late Availability section. Simply click ‘Activate Calendar’ if you haven’t already, and then fill in dates that you’re booked, provisionally booked or have an offer running. Please note that this does NOT mean that couples or competitors will be able to see your full availability – brides will only be able to see if you’re available on dates that they have checked.
Link to your social media
Add your social media handles to drive even more traffic to your business.
Awards and associations
Tick up to three awards you’ve won or associations you’re part of, which will appear on your profile.
Create a special offer
Add an offer to draw in more brides and appear in our Special Offers section.
Add a Booking Bonus as an incentive for couples booking you. Find out more about the Booking Bonus here.
Your recommended suppliers
Add suppliers that you work with on a regular basis to your advert.
Here you’ll be able to see your advert statistics in more detail, and respond to and manage your enquiries.
Click into each enquiry to receive the bride’s details and contact information, then mark it off under the Enquiry Status dropdown to easily keep track of enquiries you’ve responded to.
In this section you can add wedding fairs that you’re taking part in (or see which fairs you’ve been added to by others), submit a real wedding to feature in our Real Wedding section, and reply to your reviews directly.
Add to your website
Not only do we provide ways to improve your advert, Guides for Brides have also created tools and badges that you can add to your own website to help improve your authority. You’ll be able to add your availability calendar and reviews to your website with handy widgets – simply copy and paste the code into your website. You can also add badges to your site that link back to your profile to help boost your authority.
If you’re interested in more advertising and exposure opportunities with Guides for Brides, this is where you’ll find them. Options include banner advertising (where you can also see past and current banners you’ve run), print advertising in our Guides, and digital advertising in our Digital Mini Guides and on social media. You’ll also be able to book a spot to exhibit at a Guides for Brides wedding fair.
At the bottom of the sidebar menu, you’ll find the options to change your Guides for Brides login and contact details and see any previous invoices and notifications. You’ll also be able to upgrade your advert to add extra counties.
