We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual who will be excited by the challenge of leading our sales and marketing teams through a high-growth phase. Huge energy, a passion for making the most of every opportunity, a desire to work hard to achieve great results and a understanding of online businesses will all be key attributes.
You will be working in a small and fast paced management team, with weekly meetings to discuss ideas, priorities and opportunities and to agree on strategy. You will be responsible for implementing the strategy within the sales and marketing teams, putting processes and campaigns in place, leading by example and monitoring results.
A strong understanding of the sales process is essential to ensure a cohesive approach between the sales and marketing teams, identify the sectors and regions to prioritise and to create compelling sales emails and CTAs. You will be responsible for account management for our larger brands where a complex marketing approach is required, however a team of account managers look after all our other clients.

The business is based in Oxfordshire with a team of 8 sales consultants / account managers, 3 web developers and a marketing, accounts and admin team.

Job Description: “A typical week”
Meeting with the management team to discuss and plan short term strategy in line with the company goals.
Meetings with marketing team and sales manager to implement and delegate strategy.
Overseeing social media strategy; PPC, content, style. Analysing results
Overseeing content and e-Marketing. Analysing results
Managing our video content; identifying relevant content and overseeing production.
Monitoring competitors, industry trends and new technology.
Identifying marketing opportunities.
Making recommendations to the management team on changes and opportunities.
Working with existing media and strategic partners, identifying marketing opportunities, negotiating and fulfilling contracts.
Identifying ways to work with relevant national brands, negotiating terms and managing their accounts.
Identifying and implementing improvements to the website and automated emails, working with our designer and developers.
Occasionally client meetings in other locations.
Qualifications and Skills
Ideally Bachelor’s Degree, 2.1 or above, or equivalent qualification / experience.
Experience managing a small team
An understanding of online UX
A strong understanding of current digital marketing trends
A good working knowledge of advertising through Facebook / Instagram / Google
Excellent time management and organisational skills
A proven track record in sales or contract negotiations
A “can do” attitude. We are a small team and all pull together to make things happen.
PR knowledge or experience
Experience of the hotel, hospitality, travel or retail industries
Experience in an online, publishing or data-led business

The salary range of £28,000 – £46,000 will be determined by previous experience as well as your potential to deliver excellence in this role.
