Last week, we had the immense pleasure of attending the Worldwide debut of the Berta Bridal Couture FW18 Collection.
In a world of Instagram, Pinterest and wedding magazines, it can often be difficult to make your bridal look stand out. So, for fashion-forward brides who want to give their bridal look a trendy twist, we've created this list of stylish ideas that will instantly give you the wow-factor that you've been searching for.
What are we going to see at today’s British Bridal Exhibition? Well, apart from the much awaited 2013 spring collection for brides there is so much more! There is bold day occasion wear with a party and prom theme featuring bright colours teamed with brilliant prints. Then as we move into the evening dresses, the colours become deep and rich with mixtures of fabrics! The one-shoulder style is still strong, dressed with a corsage of flowers or a flat bow. The mother of the bride collection is a statement this year! Who says bright colours and statements are just for the young! The bridesmaid's fashion is strongly influenced by the 'wear again' dress fashion. This means that the dresses are more party themes than traditional bridesmaid’s dresses of yesteryear! Finally, menswear is still cool and classic, elegant close cuts give narrow silhouettes. Grey is still currently the big colour but dark blue is standing in the wings for 2013!
