Most couples love to decorate their weddings with two contrasting colours and brides could take forever choosing a colour scheme but why just stick to one? It's all about the colours of the rainbow so if you love colour go big and bold! Adding rainbow themed objects is a great way to add bursts of colour into your day without going over the top and can look very stylish. For the bridesmaids dresses choose plain white but then accessorise with different coloured shoes and flowers, this looks very elegant but with a quirky twist and will look effective in the photographs.

Everyone wants the wedding cake to stand out so choose a rainbow creation to spread the happiness and consider this fantastic rainbow one for a cake cutting you'll never forget! A colourful sweetie table is great idea and not just for the children! You can display the different variety of sweets in vintage jars so your guests can choose their own pick and mix to take home with them as a little treat. This is a superb idea as it is a quirky twist from the normal entertainment and creates a relaxed impression. You can choose lots of different sweets from jelly beans, smarties, sherbet saucers to pear drops which will defiantly please the guests.

To decorate your reception add tea lights and hang colourful jam jar lanterns from the trees or fill them with bright blooms for the table decorations. Channel your inner child and hand out colourful giant lollipops for favours which will certainly go down a treat with your guests. If you’re having a rainbow beach themed wedding, then hand out your guests colourful parasols to keep the sun off their back and would make funny poses in photographs.

So get on trend with colour and hopefully these unique ideas will help to transform your day into a technicolour dream and remember to think outside the box!
