October is upon us and that means Autumn is here, and we're loving it - snuggle up and get inspired by our October wedding picks.

We love this month - bring on those chilly evenings with knitted jumpers and a hot chocolate on the sofa and those warm autumnal tones in the shops. Weddings are by no means an exception to Autumn-fever, and we're crazy about some of the autumnal inspiration we're seeing.

We've seen plenty of people taking advantage of the gorgeous fallen leaves by making their own confetti from them - easy and eco-friendly. Grab yourself a hand punch and collect some red-toned leaves and you're ready to. The perfect way to give your wedding a personal touch and tie in with an autumnal theme.

If you're craving an outdoor autumn wedding, we love the idea of handing blankets to your guests to keep warm. Not only will they appreciate the extra layer, they'll make super cute wedding photographs, too.

Pumpkins. If you don't want to go all out Halloween wedding, pumpkins can be a great way to give your wedding an autumnal theme. Carve them and use them as decorations, line your aisle with them, or just decorate your venue with them.

An autumn wedding is a great excuse to go crazy with your lighting, create a really warm space by mixing your red and orange toned decorations with lights. We love these original light-bulb ones, perfect for a DIY wedding project.

Finally, get your groom matching with the autumn theme by suggesting tweed suits for him and his groomsmen. They'll probably appreciate the extra warmth, and the traditional "eligible bachelor" look is bound to look great on him.
